I was wondering if/when confirmation or support for 4k resolution using 10-bit color *via HDMI 2.0b* would be available for consumers. The product page merely states HDMI at 4k60hz. And if supported, at what color depths? i.e. RGB, ypbpr 4:2, 4:4.
GPU and HDMI specifications seem to differ depending on what you read and while it seems this has been supported as far back as the Polaris cards, as a user who connects to a television and has no DisplayPort option, this would be nice to know for upcoming purchase decisions. Thanks!
