I can't speak directly to your model. But many features are enabled for laptops in the drivers by the laptops maker. These features possibly will require a driver from HP to work. Did you get your driver from AMD or HP? With laptops you should always get drivers from the laptop makers if possible as they have modifications that may not be available in the AMD vanilla drivers.
