when I try to install amdgpu-pro, system dead , reboot system fail, it cannot start.

command: ./amdgpu-pro -y

system: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS

Driver: amd 19.10

GPU:    Vega 56

03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Vega [Radeon RX Vega] (rev c3)
06:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Vega [Radeon RX Vega] (rev c3)

I remenber installing driver with "./amdgpu-pro-install -y" on same machine, and it work, about 3 mouth ago, what is different?

I need vulkan api and opengl, so I use "pro" to install.

Have you tried installing the driver with only one Vega56 attached?

What Make & Model motherboard, CPU, PSU and GPU cards do you have?

Also the latest Ubuntu AMD Driver is  for version Ubuntu 18.04.02 and you are using 18.04.01 which might be the reason why it is not working.

This previous AMD Thread concerning Ubuntu 18.04.01 having a similar issue but using a Professional GPU card and Professional AMD Driver. Might be useful: w5100 ubuntu 18.04 driver install issue
