2700x too hot..

build my PC few days ago. My idle temp aroud 35-55c (spikes) CPU fan set on max, default BIOS settings, only XTE profile 1

My problem is when i play BF4 ( for example ) my temps around 85-90c ( saw 98 spike ) in HWinfo64. But PC works good: no throttle, air in case is cool. Aida64 stresstest is 85c

  • My build :

  • MOBO : Gigabyte B450M DS3H

  • GPU : Radeon RX580 4gb sapphire

  • PSU : Chieftec A-90 750wDDR4 : Hyperx 2x8gb3000mhz (dual-channel)

  • OS: Windows 10 Pro

  • CPU : Ryzen 7 2700x

  • Cooling setup : Thermaltake spirit 140

sorry for my english, hoping you guys can provide an idea on how to resolve this issue. Thanks!

orakyla, HWinfo is NOT a valid temperature reporter! Please post a screenshot of Ryzen Master (RM), the only valid reporter - simply drag-n-drop the image into your reply.  Your specifications:

Unless you have disabled PROCHOT, the processor will throttle the CPU clock and core voltage to limit the temperature to 85C.  Enjoy, John.

Ryzen Master temp is same, tested it early, RM dont have graphics ir history of temp thats why i cant screenshot it. My CPU. Work fine even on 98c but i worries about my cooling system, maybe. Mountained it wrong or temp is fake. Any ideas?

orakyla, you totally lost me.  Please do a Clear CMOS using the instructions in your manual and post a screenshot of Ryzen Master (RM), without it I cannot attempt to help you.  Enjoy, John.
