RX480 crashes in multiple games

My XFX RX 480 8GB Black Edition is having issues on multiple games and crashes or freezing without any warning. The most recent case is in Apex Legends where it crashes right after the game starts.

My drivers are up to date and I have tried to clean and re install them with DDU but it didn't help.

The crashes are sometimes followed with a warning saying "Default Radeon WattMan settings have been restored due to unexpected system failure"

Check in Event Viewer and see if right before it crashes you have the following Events showing. I had a similar issue with another Origin Game and it had to do with the TDR Settings in the Registry. 

Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

There is a thread on this. But first check to see if you can see if a Driver is not responding.
