AMD Radeon R9 M290X with 4GB GDDR5 Driver install failure

have been trying to install the latest driver package for my AMD Radeon R9 M290X with 4GB GDDR5 via the Obtaining Graphics Drivers Using the AMD Driver Auto-Detect Tool | AMD process.

I have had to reinstall Windows 10 so its a fresh install with all updates

I have also update my BIOS

Computer Model Alienware 17

BIOS Vendor Alienware

BIOS Version A16

BIOS Date 25/06/2018

OS Version Microsoft Windows 10 Home

The Driver will 75% install then is crashes the BSOD.  The only way I can fix is by going into safemode and uninstalling the AMD driver and cleanup tool.

This appeared to be working until approx 10 weeks ago,

And what happens when you download the drivers correctly instead of using the autodetect tool?

Yes, at 40% it freezes the entire system and must be rebooted

same goes here but I have a R9 280x and it seems from what I can see it has something to do with the latest drivers, cause i tried installing the older adrenaline drivers namely 18.8.2 and the installion of the driver works, but if i install the latest one on the driver update page, my PC goes BSOD

Thanks, I tried this driver as well but same issue, if anything I would need a driver from Oct 2018.

Any actual AMD Support folks monitor these posts to provide any level of assistance?

Went all the way back to Adrenalin Edition 18.5.2 Optional (June 2018)

Same issue

I have seen this and worse. and given the fresh install of windows I suspect your GPU has issues

Which driver did you use in the past that worked, that may be the one to use and ignore new ones
