Hello good day!
I would like to make a suggestion for improvement in the application Re-live, which by the way is very good. I am a customer of AMD since 2012, it is already my second AMD GPU that I acquire during these years and I intend to continue using the brand.
Currently in the re-live software there are 2 file format options, being AVC and HEVC. I use video capture card for video production, I use Avermedia's Live Game Portable, which has 2 format options, being MP4 and .TS H.264 + ACC.
The .TS H.264 + ACC format. is excellent in compression and quality, which helps us a lot when rendering the video in Adobe Media Encoder. A 1.5 gb file takes an average of 30 minutes to complete.
When I record using re-live software, the same file with the same image and size settings, it takes an average of 3 to 4 hours to render through the same program, meaning it is totally impracticable to make gameplays with it. Too bad the recording is great.
Therefore, I would suggest that the software allow the same form of compression of the capture card. If necessary, I can provide a sample video recorded by it for analysis.
Not sure if this would be redundant, but can you convert the Relive file into MP4 or H264 then use your program to encode it?
I have read there is a very good program video editors use called HANDBRAKE: HandBrake 1.2.0 Free Download - VideoHelp .
It outputs MP4 and H264 formats.
This may be helpful concerning Handbrake conversions: video - Lossless conversion of MKV to MP4 with Handbrake - Stack Overflow
