      My daily Rig. Recently upgraded to best I could find on this platform in local shops. CPU serve me more than 5 years overclocked. Cant complain, and for my usage It still does the job.

          Nice rigg, FX doesn't get enough respect. I find that with a fresh install of Win10 on an NVME (970 Evo, 256Gb best), or SSD (good), a very good mb Asus 970 Pro Gaming  Aura a FX8350/8370 will game just fine 1080p. I had to go with MSI 1050ti for the looks as the RX 570 was $100 more last year. I may still go for an RX 570/580/590. My FX8350 works exceptionally well with an AMD Wraith/Prism cooler. I got the same MB as you w/FX9590 and 16Gb 2400Mhz DDR3. It's waiting for a case and a future Navi card. Happy New year I'll post some pics from my rigg.

            What is the red thing just to the right of the PSU in the bottom of the case, a fan?

            R9 Gaming what?  You didn't mention the type of card.
