So I have recently bought the RX580 Nitro+ 4GB for my birthday and this is my first graphics card change in 5 years. What is happening is that games like monster hunter world is crashing after a few hours of play in which the monitor stops responding the the only way to use the computer again requires a force restart by closing the power supply.
Why is this happening as even after such an crash the CPU is still running?
My specs are:
OS:Windows 10 (64 bit)
GPU: RX 580 nitro + 4gb
PSU: 500W PSU
CPU: Intel i3-2120 cpu
Motherboard: Gigabyte H61M-DS2
RAM: 8GB DDR3
2TB + 500 GB hard drive
1 DVD player.
