Hi
Will i get max boost of 2600x on a asus prime x370 pro motherboard updated to last bios version?
or i need a 400-series chipset to get 2600x's max boost frequency?
i.e. is PBO2/XFR enhanced or whatever, chipset-dependent?

No

On ASUS Prime X370-Pro XFR and PBO has been hidden in BIOS by the manufacturer on latest v4207, then you can't enjoy all the improvements offered by AMD until ASUS decides on changes in future BIOS versions for Prime X370-Pro.
Regards
EDIT: Keep in mind that if you buy an ASUS Prime X370-Pro or any X370 motherboards brand new the BIOS installed will be outdated and 2600X will not be supported until upgrade to the latest BIOS version through AMD Boot Kit or having a previous AM4 CPU than Ryzen 2000-series, maybe the store can offer you update BIOS before sending it. alipoor90, at least as far as I know, there is no 4xx chip set. If the MB says it supports your processor, it should get to maximum boost. If not, then communicate with the MB vendor. Enjoy, John
