Why do AMD chipset and graphics driver conflict each other

I tried to install the chipset drivers after the graphics drivers and I couldn't. It said that the drivers were already updated. I had to uninstall everything and install the chipset drivers first and the graphics drivers second.

Now I updated the graphics drivers and it seems it wiped the chipset drivers, the ryzen balanced power plan has dissapeared.

I don't understand this behaviour. Why do chipset and graphics drivers conflict each other?

Same problem. AMD chipset & graphics drivers conflict each other. Why do they share a common installer? It's a nonsense.

Description of the issue:
Everytime I do a (clean) update of graphics drivers the chipset drivers are uninstalled. They need to be re-installed again.

Using the AMD 'clean' installer will do that. Their idea of 'clean'....

Try install the new drivers over the existing drivers. IE...don't delete the old drivers and use express install.
