    Extended display annoyance

    atti

Is it Microsoft's bug or ATI software/hardware bug that all stuff on display one (DELL display) gets moved to display two (Philips TV) usually when graphic card or software bugs (very often) and needs to use reset button or I run game which uses lower resolution than desktop? Computer and tv are connected with HDMI-cable and both Win 10 display settings and ATI Radeon settings recognize that DELL display is number one and tv is number two.

Information (still same as in this https://community.amd.com/message/2809345#comment-2809345 post):

      Card: Radeon 290x (not overclocked)

      Type: Desktop

OS: Win10 64bit (no October update)

Driver: 16.11.5 (uninstalled with AMD cleanup utility) and 18.12.1 (thinking going back to 16.11.5 since driver has stopped responding 9 times past 1.5 hrs (Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered.) and so far has recovered each time and 16.x  mostly crashes when waking computer up from long sleep).

Display: DELL U2713H with mini displayport-cable with 60Hz

Motherboard and Bios: Gigabyte Z87X-D3H and F9 (latest from Gigabyte)

CPU: Intel Corei7 4770k (not overclocked either)

      PSU: Corsair CX650M 650W 80+ Bronze

      RAM: 8GB

It is annoying to have to move stuffs which should be on display one from tv back to display one.

Old problem on that other post still exists and with 18.x driver version game (track) graphic is bit greyish and car graphic varies.
