Is my processor a manufacturing problem? and what should I send it back to replace it?
leroipoutrage, please install Ryzen Master (RM) and post a screenshot. It is the only CPU temperature report that should be trusted. All others are suspect. If your temperature is a constant 80, there could be a cooler problem, probably not a processor problem. Please tell us the RPM of your pump and CPU fans. The limit for your processor is 95 C:
Thanks and enjoy, John.
Hello, I have tried to install the Ryzen Master (RM) software twice and can not open it, a small window opens and closes directly as on the entire screenshot. So I made a screenshot on the Speecy software to show you the temperature. I dare not go further for fear of damaging other components.

To run correctly Ryzen Master you must select English as the default language in Windows, sign out, sign in and then you can take a screenshot to post it here
billy72, really? I know only English is currently supported with future language support, but I was not aware of needing to run W10 in English. I have e-mailed AMD support about all the problems and an assured that the RM support programmers are aware. It has been in the ditch for a couple weeks. Surely it is fixed by now.
leroipoutrage, please DL a fresh copy and try again. Please look at Details of properties for the installer (AMD-Ryzen-Master.exe) and post what the version is. It should be 18.104.22.1682 and it should work. Enjoy, John.
yes, it's a problem related with RM v1.5 through non English default language on Windows, according the latest comments on Ryzen Master does not start properly by amdmatt RM Team are being informed
I managed to open Ryzen Master with my computer in English (US) and it worked. Here is the screenshot of the software.
leroipoutrage, this looks quite normal. Are you OK with it? Please post the version of your RM. Would RM not open if kept your native language? Thanks and enjoy, John.
No, I do not agree that it is not normal for my processor to heat up to 95 ° C without open application. And that the processor is new, just like the rest of the configuration. I would like to pass the guarantee that I have with the purchase of a product. I just think that the processor is working badly.
RM and on this last version, the software only works under Windows and is activated in American English.
I avoid using my new config to avoid damaging other components.
If I were you, I would unmount the cooler and check if there was contact between the cooler and the heatspreader. If the thermal paste looks untouched, then it wasn't mounted properly. From that screenshot, the current temp is 30C which is fine. And if it reaches 80C quickly under a slight load, it might be the case.
