Did anyone take their R9 270(x) with the black screen issue to a repair shop?

Hey everybody!

 

I'm experiencing the same problem with my Asus Radeon R9 270 Direct CU II that's been discussed here many times in the last few months. To make it short: Screen goes black during driver install and remains black until de-installing the driver in safe mode. It's been discussed in more detail in any of these threads:

To summarize: All troubleshooting and customer support couldn't get to the root of the problem and at this point it's most certainly a hardware problem. I don't think we have to go over it all again, my only question is this: Did anyone do what's been suggested here and took their card to a repair shop? Any luck?
