Did the following but not in this order;
HP Pavillion with AMD and dts sound but sound no longer works on my HDMI connection to my TV.
Uninstalled all sound drivers and video drivers. When rebooting it installed the drivers even though it settled for a generic driver for video.
Did not fix problem.
Ran Windows trouble shooter but it did not find a problems. it shows the following:
Any of the suggestions I got on the Microsoft support site did not work.
Tried several HDMI cables so I know it is not a cable problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
