AMD R5-M200 graphics refuse to scale

So I own a ThinkPad E555 running Windows7 x64 with duel AMD R6 and R5-M200 graphics, and I tend to play a lot of older games. So when I upgraded my R5-M200 graphics drivers not too long ago via IO-bit's Driver Booster and attempted to play some older low-res games, I noticed that the screen wasn't scaling anything. The game would be centered with its low resolution in-tact, even when I configured the display settings to not do so (maintain aspect ratio and/or centered) via Radeon settings, the problem was still present. So I downgraded my R5 drivers and haven't updated since. I'm now receiving update notifications on version 18.8.1 when I currently have 18.5.1, this issue doesn't appear on the release notes, should I upgrade?

No. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Read the release notes...if the driver does not 'fix' a issue you have..do not install it.
