Until recently, before setting my games exe file as a "high priority", I've been having many issues playing games the last two years with random hard reboots, and the screen cutting out, turning black and blue, it never over heated by the way. I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 a few years ago, and I have a HP motherboard, its model number is 500-267c. Its been claimed that my motherboard is outdated for the components that I have and that I should have done a clean install of Windows 10 instead of simply upgrade, suggesting that I reinstall it. I want to know how true all this really is. I have an AMD RX 470 and I7-4790K. Is my motherboard out of date for these components??
This is the Computer I bought a few years ago, for those wondering.
