Hey guys. I'm having an black screen issue and I hope someone can help me:

System:

• AMD Graphics Card
  • AMD R7 370 2GB
• Desktop
• Operating System
  • Windows 10 Pro 64bit
• Driver version installed
  • Adrenalin Edition 18.6.1 Optional
• Motherboard + Bios Revision
  • Gigabyte GA-H97M-DS3P
  • BIOS version F6
• CPU/APU
  • Intel Core i5 4460
• Power Supply Unit  Make, Model & Wattage
  • Corsair CX500 - 500W
• RAM
  • 8GB

Issue:I turned my pc on last week and it started normally. Everything was ok and I was watching a stream when my screen went black. I could still listen the stream, but can't see anything.I tried to restart pc. But after windows start screen, the screen went black again.I started Windows in safe mode and this way worked fine. I uninstalled AMD driver and restarted. After that I could start Windows normally.Now when I try to re-install AMD drivers, screen goes black again and I need to uninstall driver again (from safe mode).Tried (with no success):

• Install older drivers (16.11.5, 18.2.1, 18.4.1)
• Restore PC
• Format PC
• Clean install with DDU
• I may be forgetting some other try...

PS:

I tested my PCI Express slot with other GPU and it's ok.

For now, I'm using onboard graphics...

Since I saw other people with same black screen issue, I don't think it's a problem with my GPU. Perhaps some bug in AMD driver.

I hope I can fix this as fast as possible.

You aren't alone.  This has been happening to me on my laptop with every driver after 18.3.4.

Interestingly, with the laptop, it is only the laptop screen that is blanked.  I found from someone else with the same issue that plugging in an external monitor & could see the desktop.

Try giving the 18.3.4 driver a go & see if that one is ok for you as well?
