How can I recover the resolution of my monitors?

Question asked by serikame on May 4, 2018

My computer works with a CPU with Rizen and has an AMD WX 5100 GPU installed, the operating system is Linux. Until last week I used Ubuntu Studio 17.10 and had my three monitors intalado with its maximum resolution 3.840x2160, 1920x1080 and 2560x1440. After updating to Ubuntu Studio 18.04, I can only have the resolution of 1920x1080 on all monitors. And the worst thing is, if I download the AMD drive the AMDGPU-PRO 17.50-552542 and install it in Ubuntu Studio 18.04 it crashes the operating system and I have to uninstall it. I tried to increase the resolution with the Xrandr command but without success. Someone knows if AMD plans to release a drive for Ubuntu 18.04 soon that will solve these problems.
