In adjusting the video settings in Far Cry 5 I'm unable to gain a resolution greater than 2560x1080 with a statement about needing more graphics processing power and video memory. With the system components I have put together it doesn't seem that I should be so limited. I either don't have my systems settings set for optimized performance or there is another issue. Other than tinkering around with WoW FC5 is the first new release type game that I've played on this new build and would like to make sure I'm getting maximum graphics performance for this and any other games. Any help would be appreciated.
Does the issue of being unable to set the maximum support resolution of your monitor happen only with Far Cry 5? If so you might want to contact Ubisoft directly for support.
Have you tried editing the video settings (gamerprofile) profile located at:
It is possible to edit the in game resolution, if you open this file with Notepad.
