All that information really doesn't mention the EXACT MAKE & MODEL of your HP Laptop.  It is showing that there is no problems with the driver on the laptop.

Go to HP Support and check to see if there are any new updates to the Laptop BIOS, CHIPSET, and MOUSE drivers. If there are, install those and see if the mouse freezing stops.

I had an old Logitech Wireless Mouse using Setpoint Driver from 2015. After January 2018, I was having intermittent freezing of the Desktop mouse constantly. Ended up purchasing a new mouse with an Updated Logitech Mouse driver from Logitech OPTIONS. No more freezing or lagging.
