My ASUS laptop has AMD Radeon R5 M420 2GB and AMD HD 8500 1GB, but when i run some games the settings says i have 1GB vram. can anyone explain and help me.

My ASUS laptop has AMD Radeon R5 M420 2GB (Primary) and AMD HD 8500 1GB (Discrete), but when i run some games the settings says i have 1GB vram. can anyone explain and help me. i want to use that 2GB vram to play high end games. please help
