AMD Radeon flickering on HiDPI display with Gnome Wayland after wake from suspend

Actually, this is a copy (or summary) of this bug report on freedesktop.org.

I could not find the official AMD issue tracker for the Linux drivers. If you know where to find it, please let me know.

This issue applies to a Linux system (Fedora 28) running Wayland Gnome with two displays connected. One regular via DVI and one HiDPI via DisplayLink.

There are several reports about AMD Radeon flickering on Gnome Wayland. I took quite some time to collect the reports. See the link above (and the links in that issue) for more details. For me the flickering only happens after that my system resumed from suspend. Some issue reports state that this bug is related to power (management).

Some of the affected hardware (I collected this list from several bug reports):

      Radeon RX460

      Radeon RX560

      Radeon RX580

      Radeon R9 390

      Radeon Pro WX 5100

      Radeon RX 550

      R9 270x

I would really like to make sure that this report reaches the AMD Linux driver software developers. Please provide me feedback if you know how to do this or if they are aware of this issue.
