Can AMD XConnect be disabled and have it load the normal driver?

Hello, community.

I am using a Windows 10 64-bit system with Thunderbolt 3 and internal AMD Radeon R9 Nano. My external GPU has another AMD Radeon R9 Nano.

The option to enable CrossFire appears when eGPU is connected, but it hangs the AMD Settings utility when triggered.

I think it is because using XConnect puts the internal GPU to sleep somewhat.

Can I make the AMD driver load for an external GPU as if it were an internal GPU?

No AMD XConnect, just plain driver.

Thank you!
