A friend of mine has an HP 255 G4 Laptop with the following configuration:
Windows 10 Pro x64 Build 1709 (16299.192)
AMD Quad-Core A6-6310 APU with Radeon R4 Graphics
AMD Radeon R5 M330
And the issue he's having is that when he installs the new APU driver https://support.amd.com/en-us/download/apu?os=Windows%2010%20-%2064 and the dedicated GPU driver latest version which is https://support.amd.com/en-us/download/mobile?os=Windows%2010%20-%2064
there is massive stuttering in games that didnt have stuttering before. The mouse stutters and GPU is pinned to 100% usage.Only thing that fixes this is to install a very outdated driver 16.12.2 that fixes the stuttering.
Any newer driver seems to be causing this issue, I was wondering like the HP driver which has both APU and GPU driver combined is there a special driver that he needs to use. I'm aware that it's switchable and I've been sure that it's set to high performance for the games and the issue still exists.
He uses DDU to uninstall drivers inbetween reinstalls. Also the BIOS is current, latest version.
