Recently installed 18.2.1 on my 7970m, but now driver crashes on game start ups, and whole computer freezes.

Please let me know if theres any further details i can provide.

Windows 10 64bit

• Driver version installed
  • Radeon Software Crimson Edition 18.2.1
• Display Devices
  • Laptop 1080p
• CPU/APU
  • Intel i7 3000 series

• RAM
  • 8GB

Describe your issue:

• Unistalled old drivers using amd uninstall facility. Restarted and installed 18.2.1 from your website. Drivers crash on game start up and computer freezes requiring a hard shut down.
• Battlefield 1 most recent revision
• 1080p low setting usually get 60fps

Try a clean install using DDU > Clean Install AMD Graphics Drivers

tried that, DDU works fine but when i try to install using auto detect i get the same issue OR if i install 18.2.1 manually by downloading full 300mb from your website the driver crashes once installed!

any ideas? i would happily build a new pc if i could get a card for retail
