Hi all,

I'm having a heck of a time trying to update my Radeon drivers.  When I do install an update, I get a yellow exclamation point in device manager that tells me the device has been stopped because it is reporting problems and it gives Code 43.  I've tried manually installing the most recent update based on the APU (APU - if that's the right one) and uninstalling and reinstalling the device, then trying the update again.  No luck.  The only driver that will work is from HP's website, which is version 17.1.1 (I'm trying to run SW: Battlefront II and need at least version 17.7.1 to do that, so it's no help).

Any other suggestions on what I can do?  I've read that some folks have had success after enabling legacy mode in BIOS, though I can't say I'm familiar with that.

Thanks!

Just a quick update. Still no dice on getting the driver to update to 17.7.1 or beyond. I’ve actually had to downgrade from the most recent version I could install (17.1.1) from HP because of issues running games.

If anyone has thoughts on anything else I can try, I’m all ears.
