amdgpu-pro 17.40 on CentOS 7.4: no platform found

I try to get ethminer running on CentOS 7.4. However, clinfo is reporting "Number of platforms 0".

 

My configuration:

rocm-amdgpu-pro-opencl.x86_64     17.50-511655.el7     @amdgpu-pro-local
