vega 64 total black screen after turbo mode

Question asked by vegaguyneedshelp on Dec 25, 2017

After updating to the most recent Crimson driver I tried switching my GPUs to turbo mode. The screnn suddenly had a yellow tint and a black screen occured. Since then I got a total blackscreen  (I cant even see the UEFI ) and there is no HDMI signal even though the system is running.

I tried clearing the cmos, removed Ram, part testing etc..

Part list:

  • AMD Graphics Card
    • 2x Gigabyte Rx Vega 64 FE
  • Desktop
  • Operating System
    • Windows 10 64bit
  • Driver version installed
    • Latest Radeon Software Crimson Edition offered yesterday (cant check due to blackscreen duh!)
  • Display Devices
    • Asus 24" Monitor via HDMI
  • Motherboard
    • MSI Gaming Pro Carbon x370
  • CPU/APU
    • Ryzen 7 1700x
  • Power Supply Unit
    • Be quiet Dark Power Pro 11 1000w
  • RAM
    • Corsair 1 x 16GB

How can I remove these turbo settings manually with no video output and hopefully resolve this problem as no parts seem to be faulty except those Crimson drivers lastly set to turbo mode?
