I have a desktop Dell XPS 8700 with an AMD Radeon R9 270. Windows 10 1709 x64. Display devices resolution 1920x1080.

The Radeon Crimson software installed was WHQL 17.7 with driver dated 6/27/2017.

With that driver I can connect to a wireless display (Samsung MU6290) and use it as an extended display or a duplicate display with no problem.

With update to Radeon software adrenalin edition 17.12.2  Dec 19 and driver 23.20.15007.1005 the wireless display connection does not work.

When I connect you can see that it tries connecting for a few seconds and a message appears on the wireless screen, but then drops and never completes the connection.

Note that the option to connect to wireless display was added when I installed WHQL 17.11.1, but it could not complete the connection to the wireless display with the same behavior as I see with 17.12.1 or 17.12.2, tries for a few seconds and then drops.

If I revert back the Radeon software to 17.7 with driver  the wireless display completes the connection and  works.

The question is which of the latest Radeon software and drivers support the wireless display with the Radeon R9 270 ?

Is the adrenalin edition 17.12.2  supposed to work with a wireless display ?

Keep in mind that I use the same wireless display with other PC's and laptops and it works fine, it fails only on my Desktop Dell XPS 8700..
