AMD Driver won't install. Message, "driver has not been installed"

I'm trying to install a better AMD driver on my Lenovo AMD FX-8800P Radeon R7 so I can play Dark Souls 3 with decent FPS, so I downloaded the autodetect tool and went for a custom install of a ton of softwares it recommended to me, and everything else installed except the driver. In the autodetect software it says "driver has not installed." When I view the installation log, every software has "success" next to it except for the AMD display driver, which has fail. I made sure to uninstall any other drivers in my device manager, except for the windows basic display driver because I'm worried I shouldn't uninstall it. There was no option to clean install the AMD driver but if there was I'd surely clean install it over the basic driver I apparently have. What do I do next to download the driver?
