VRAM Usage Doesn't Show Up in Performance Metrics Monitoring

First of all, great job with the new Adrenalin driver software. The new performance monitoring feature is amazing but for some reason, I can't see the VRAM usage although I have it set to on. I have tried several games such as:

Rainbow Six: Siege

Asssassin's Creed: Black Flag

The Long Dark

and I can not see the vram usage in any of them. I have noticed that turning off and on the "VRAM Usage" option in the driver software makes it run for one minute or so, but after a minute, it disappears again. After it disappears, I can't see it under the "Choose Performance Metrics" tab in Alt+R menu or even in the driver software when I alt+tab out of the game. It is like the vram usage metric completely disappears. I don't know what's going on or how to fix it. I really want to get rid of any third party applications like MSI Afterburner and this new feature is really useful but unless I can see the vram usage, it is not really useful to me.

My system specs are as follows:

Gigabyte 990XA UD-3 Rev 3.0 Motherboard with fEH bios

GSkill Ripjaws 1600mhz DDR3 2X4gb Ram

700w Cougar CMX PSU
