Hello, I recently upgraded my graphics card from a HD 5670 to a RX 580. However, when installing the new drivers (17.11.x), I noticed that I had a dvrcmd.exe error 0xc000007b during the installation (which did not seem to affect the installation otherwise) and when starting the AMD Settings application later. I tried with older drivers and that problem was removed, but I'd rather keep my drivers up-to-date. Any ideas how to resolve that? I am not getting this error with another problem. BTW the OS is Windows 7, 64 bit. I used to have a RX 480 about 6 months ago, but I did not have this problem.
I also noticed a strange problem with Warhammer TW II where the card gets very noisy and I eventually get a black screen with only the mouse showing; the issue is resolved on its own if I let it stay for around 5-10 minutes, but then it happens again. I am not sure if this is related.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Web search of that error shows many refs to possible corrupt/missing windows .Net/directx/msvcr drivers.
Have you tried any of the fixes.
Or leftover files from previous cards drivers.
Have you tried a Clean Install AMD Graphics Drivers
