Ubuntu 17.04 Installing Driver For Two GPU's [Radeon R7 260X]

Question asked by colddeath on Dec 2, 2017

Hi,

I have the following setup:

OS: Ubuntu 17.04

Motherboard: MSI B85-G41 PC Mate B85

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 3400 1150 BOX

GPU: 2x MSI 2GB D5 X R7 260X OC V1 R

Memory: 2x 8GB 1600-999 RipjawsX K4 GSK

lspci:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Bonaire XTX [Radeon R7 260X/360]

02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Bonaire XTX [Radeon R7 260X/360]

Before I installed the driver, both cards got recognised and all four of my screen worked.

When I installed amdgpu-pro according to the instructions given by AMD, only one of the video cards are installed. Two of my screens work, the other have a lot of rgb bars over the screen.

How do I get the card running with driver?

Thank you,

W. Roelofs
