Lower Performance/Higher Fan Speed Since Windows 10 FCU - 17.11.1

AMD drivers worked fine for about a year but after the Fall Creators update of Windows things went crazy. The laptop fan is working at higher speed than before most of the time, and the overall performance is worse. The laptop runs hot really fast when I watch videos or just use multiple browsers. Although, it works fine in the beginning but after like 10 minutes it starts to run hot. I never encountered issues like these with AMD drivers before the Windows update.

I tried all the recommended steps proposed in Fixes for common AMD graphics driver problems

I also tried the beta driver for Windows 10 Fall Creators update (Radeon Crimson 17.40). It wasn't stable so the laptop ran hot anyway.

Any help or advice is appreciated!
