the same happened on ubuntu 17.04/17.1, deepin 15.5 on every kernel, and also i have some errors on boot screeen about kfd device see video which is below.
Video of boot screen: here
Ok - you may have to check with Levovo's support (in the manuals at least) on how to turn on IOMMU (or ACPI mapping options). If that fails (if the BIOS does not provide any options for iommu), you may have to use custom bootloader options to turn off iommu during and after installation (for instance iommu=soft); this is not AMD specific so see ubuntu forums for more on this.
Something like GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="iommu=pt" or GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="iommu=soft". You may run into hardware discovery issues but again, that's purely on the side of Lenovo/Ubuntu.
Some more information would be nice to come up with some sensible answers! How about a distro/kernel and any background information on updates, maybe some xorg output. Anything really that could give folks here a starting point.
If you're talking about the horizontal text lines that scroll up during boot, you're probably just seeing the system/kernel/service loading messages. Sorry, that's all I could see with my crystal ball.
