Virtual super resolution no longer available after update

Question asked by blokewithsuperpowers on Nov 18, 2017

As stated in the title, after updating my AMD drivers (yes, everything else is also up to date), virtual super resolution is no longer supported for one of my monitors, yes, i know how to set it up as i have used 3 screens for quite some time and have always had all set to a resolution of 1920 by 1080 (with 2 using virtual super resolution).

Is there something i am doing wrong, is the only solution to roll back the drivers?

Edit: After trying to install several previous drivers, none of them can 'identify' my graphics card (R9 295X2 8GB Hydra Edition) and therefore will not install.

Thanks in advance.
