Why is there 8 GB+ of files in my C:\AMD folder?

The AMD folder on my C: drive is currently at 8.48 GB. There are five "Non-WHQL-Win10-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-[install dates] folders, each running ~570 MB each. The Packages folder is hoarding 4.96 GB of disk space. In there I found two folders, Apps and Drivers. Drivers contains 2.68 GB and Apps is 2.27 GB.

Apps has folder after folder of incremental versions. It seems as though the installer doesn't like to clean up after itself. Same store with drivers.

What's the deal Radeon? I've got to imagine there's a way to clean these out without wrecking the system. Did I miss something during installation or is your installer not able to clean up after itself? It shouldn't take GBs of anything to run a video card.

How do I clean out this inordinately large stache of files?
