you can delete that folder, every time that you install new driver, the driver create a uncompressed folder, thats normal...
and the driver has nothing to do with the folder...
It works like this,
- you downloaded the driver
- when you install it, is going to uncompress it (C:/AMD folder)
-the driver will install from that folder (C:/AMD)
-and you can remove the folder or both, the AMD folder and the driver that you download in first place

Here is a little tip, Never post any type of personal information on public Forums. I don't know if the telephone number is a personal or business number, but it is advisable not to post that type of info. As well as email addresses. Never know what dubious person might be viewing the post and start sending you spam through your email or telephone number.
I can delete the ENTIRE C:\AMD folder?
Odd that the installer doesn't clean up after itself.

A lot of us find having that folder with recent installs REALLY handy so I for one am glad it's not deleted.
DDU -> Options -> Remove AMD Folder -> Reinstall 17.11.1.
