Discussion created by deryl on Nov 12, 2017

Hello

My hardware configuration

Biostar B350GT5 latest bios

CPU AMD A8 9600

DDR4 Crucial 2400 MHz 4GB

Windows 10 Pro fall creators update, all latest available drivers are installed.

I have a problem with the AMD A8 9600 processor The system often lowers the clock to the smallest possible 1.4GHz, the only solution is to restart the computer.

Somtimes system turns itself restarts, and windows report the bug

WHEA-logger

Critical hardware error occurred.

Ingredient: AMD Northbridge

Error Source: Computer Exception Exception

Error type: 11 Processor APIC Id: 0

In general, the support of this platform is very poor, the default windows update drivers to the graphics integrated with this processor, the installation only cause BSOD, only the latest nonWHQL are partially working. I try restor default settings in UEFI and reinstall OS that operation no solved problem.

Description of problem sent also to Microsoft technical support and community.
