Hi. We found a driver bug in version 17.10.3 in windows 10 64 bit for RX470

driver enters a deadlock after the following steps in our game engine DX11.

1-use geometry shader to expand point to quads for more than 5000 points

2-delete a dynamic vertex buffer or structure buffer with flag CPU_WRITE

3-Create a dynamic vertex buffer or structure buffer with flag CPU_WRITE after previous delete

at this stage it seems driver enters a dead lock state and crash. This error is not exist in version 17.10.1. We are sure that this is a driver bug because we tested this on Nvidia770 and 1060 and there is no error in program it only happens in 17.10.3 driver

we got this error in our logger:

Device removed HRESULT code 887a0007 after resolving error by GetDeviceRemovedReason() it shows:

"The GPU will not respond to more command, most likely because some other application submitted invalid commands. The calling application should re-create the device and continue."
