You need to enable freesync in the monitor's OSD/bios first - only then crimson can see it.

That card does not support Freesync:
amdmatt prod the website guy and get them to add the RX 500 series and Vega series.

there are 2 FreeSyncs
what all people talk about "FreeSync" is FreeSync 1.2 - then it can refresh the Screen correctly - that isnt supported by your GPU
then there is "FreeSync" as FreeSync 1 - that refreshes the display in the framerate that your videoplayback is giving - that is supported by most GCN 1 GPUs (but thats not the FreeSync that is called FreeSync now )
