Well first of all greetings to all,

I am currently looking for a way to record my game games in linux without the impact is very noticeable (similar to what is agreed with AMD Relive in Windows). I've searched everywhere and I really do not find anything that takes advantage of my AMD R9 290 graphics accelerator to encode and decode, I currently perform this task via software but the impact is very high between 20 to 25% of my Intel i5 4460 CPU, high quality with a bitrate of 2500 and only 30fps with radeon Relive only uses between 5 to 8% recording in high quality at 60fps.

In view that once again it seems that as many users of Linux as Mac will not have this utility I attach to the goodwill of you to reach at least an intermediate solution, since with only 2 minutes of search I saw that nvidia has nvenc and has nothing to send to its performance in Windows.

Anyway, I currently use the driver amdgpu(opensource, no pro) with drm next 3.19, kernel 4.14rc3-3, LLVM 4.0.1 (I do better than 5.0), Mesa 17.2.2. and my distribution is Open Suse Tumbleweed.

If you need any additional information, please just let me know.
