Hey fellas, in a conundrum here.
I recently got XFX's RX 570 over two weeks ago. Upon replacing the video card, cleaning out all of the drivers, and fresh installing the new drivers, it seems that the RX 570 is making my PC heat up to levels where the card or the game just crashes. Now I do not know if it's the CPU or video card that is heating up, but all I know is my PC gets really hot after 30 minutes of playing a modern game and then boom, the game or drivers just crash. My computer has been up for more than 6 hours with the new RX 570 in it just doing regular tasks like web-browsing or working in IDE's. However, the gaming component is what makes it fall flat.
When I first installed this card, I was using the latest drivers which was 17.9.1, but I fell back to 17.7.1 upon suggestion. Unfortunately, I still get the same problem, except it just takes longer for the games to crash.
For reference, here are my specs:
Windows 7 Professional x64
FX 6300 (stock speeds)
XFX RX 570 (stock speeds too)
8GB DDR3 RAM
1TB Hard Drive
Asrock 970 Pro 3 R2.0 motherboard
Seasonic S12 520w PSU
Anyone got the same problems? Let alone, does anyone have a good solution?
