Do they work now? If they do, there is no need to try updating them at the moment. There have been issues reported with some Legacy graphics for several APU's..and that was before the 'new' creators update.
No as stable as on creators update , I go back to 1703 and I will wait until amd release windows 10 fall creators update

Windows 10 1709, has reported problems with every version of AMD Radeon Crimson drivers.
Microsoft EDGE does not open or opens with a grey windows after several seconds.
All Crimson versions starting with 16.10.3 and 17.xx including Beta 17.40 with driver 23.20.768.9 fail with the same symptom and hanging Microsoft EDGE.
I have a DELL XPS 8700 with AMD RADEON R9 270, Windows 10 1709 (x64) was installed on 10/16/2017 and did not show the problem, the bug started with the first CRIMSON update to 17.10.03 installed on Windows 10 1709.
I tried several older Crimson drivers starting with 16.10.3 and above and they all fail the same way including Crimson .Beta 17.40 with driver23.20.768.9.
To get a driver that works I had to go back to Crimson 16.1 or 16.2 with drivers 15.301.1701.0 or 15.301.1901.0.
So far those 2 version seem to work fine, non hangs on Microsoft EDGE.
There is definitely an incompatibility with the latest AMD Crimson drivers and Windows 10 1709 Creator update.
Any information on a new Driver that takes care of this bug ?
You should do some more reading. It was/is the Microsoft Update that borked Edge ...has nothing to do with graphics. Sorry to disappoint.
