Dedicated GPU not being used

Hi, first of all my system info:

Laptop ACER Aspire E 15 with a non-standard build E5-551G-81JC

GPU 1: AMD Radeon(TM) R5 Graphics (that's what is says)

GPU 2: AMD Radeon R7 M265

Driver Packaging Version: 17.30.1041-170720a-316467C-CrimsonReLive (17.7.2)

Radeon Settings Version: 2017.0720.1902.32426

Operating system: Windows 10(64bit)

CPU Type: AMD A8-7100 Radeon R5, 8 Compute Cores 4C+4G (Again, this is what I'm reading in the Radeon Settings software)

8 GB DDR3 L Memory

So, my laptop apparently doesn't use the R7 GPU at all. Now, the issue was always there but it have all gotten a lot worse after I installed the latest drivers and software. Before the update, some games would actually use the dedicated one but now MSI Afterburner tool I'm using to track the GPU's  tells me the R7 usage and temperature is always "0", even when I'm playing games. Also, even the Radeon Settings tells me it is using the R5 GPU when I'm playing.

I've set everything on high performance in both Windows and Radeon settings to no avail.

I'll welcome any suggestions about what to do with it.
