I just counted 27 versions of the 5700. You need to be specific on make and model.
And how are you connecting the monitors i.e. what cables/adapters if any..
I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 1 GB DDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI-Express video card.
Monitor A is using a DVI to HDMI cord and is on. Monitor B is using an HDMI cord plugged into and HDMI to DisplayPort adapter and is on. Monitor C is using a DVI cord and is registering but can not extend to it.
Ok. There's a couple issues here.
1) You cannot use both DVI ports and the HDMI port at the same time as one of the DVI is SHARED with the HDMI. That's why one goes blank.
3) ALWAYS ALWAYS use native connections when you can. i.e. HDMI to HDMI. DVI to DVI. It saves fiddling.
4) you didn't mention what ports your monitors have, surely they have more than one?
Typically if you want to use the displayport, without a native connection to a displayport monitor, you'll need an active adapter.
Search your favorite store for something like this. NOTE THAT IT IS ACTIVE
StarTech.com 3 foot DisplayPort to DVI Active Adapter Converter Cable
They can be pricey and finiky so buy somewhere with a good return/exchange policy. Using this you'll be able to do 3 screen eyefinity, 3 screen extended and 3 screen cloned.
Hope that helps...
Thanks so much for taking the time to help me out and give me all that
info. I'll try to most some plugs around when I get home. Thanks again.
