I realize there are tons of these posts, but I have yet to find anything to help me.
I have a Sapphire R9 390 Nitro 8GB, and last week I started to experience black screen lockups with sound stuttering randomly when gaming. Originally, It only occurred when gaming, but as the last week went by it's now freezing randomly even when idling at desktop.
I have tried every suggestion I could find; Underclocking, locking memory clock, trying pretty well every driver released for said card, fresh windows install, everything with no results.
This card was purchased on April 18 2016 so it's just over a year old, and before last week was working flawlessly. It's definitely the card, as my old GPU works perfectly. Is there anything else I can try? It took me over a year to save to build this system, and I can't afford a new GPU right now.
CPU: Core i5-6500 3.2ghz
GPU: Sapphire - Radeon R9 390 8GB Nitro
Motherboard: Gigabyte - GA-B150M-D3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400
Storage: SanDisk - SSD PLUS 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
PSU: EVGA - 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX
PC just locked up again, and when I reset it, there is no longer a signal from the GPU. I opened up the side panel, and when the power is turned on the fans on the card no long spin, and nothing on the gpu lights up. Looks like the card is now dead.
