a12-9800 monitoring cpu temperature in linux

Question asked by kminooie on Oct 7, 2017

I have been searching online and were not able to fine any useful information what so ever. Basically this is my problem:

I have an A12-9800 with on an ASUS B350 prime motherboard. What kernel module, driver, patch, etc do I need to have to be able to monitor CPU temperature in Linux?

Currently, I am on debian 9 (4.9.0-3-amd64 ) and k10temp module is loaded but this is what I get when I run sensors ( I have run sensors-detect ):

Adapter: PCI adapter

temp1:         +0.0°C  (high = +70.0°C)

                       (crit = +100.0°C, hyst = +99.0°C)
