Freesync problem with the monitor

I recently bought a Philips monitor which is advertised as a freesync monitor, but in the radeon settings it says that freesync is not supported. I also received a cd with the monitor where i found the monitor driver, and also i installed it but nothing has changed. I tried displayport as well as hdmi input but it's the same result. In the monitor menu there is no option to enable or disable freesync. Freesync range should be 46 - 75 Hz.

Monitor: Philips 276E8FJAB/00

Graphics card: Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ Limited Edition

Graphics driver: 17.9.3

OS: Windows 7 64 bit Professional

This exact monitor is not on the amd freesync supported monitor list but the 1080p version of this monitor is there so i guess that this is also supported.

Here is the link for the monitor:

I hope someone can help me with this situation.
