MSI x399 PRO Gaming Carbon
Win 10 Pro
DDR4 LPX Corsair Vengeance 2400 MHZ
SSD M.2 Samsung Evo 960 250 GB
Geforce GTX 1080 Gigabyte Windforce OC 8GB
Windows sees all 12 cores in device manager, but in task manager or in CPHUID or in CinebenchR15 shows only 6 cores and 12 threads... Reinstalled windows, updated and reset BIOS, tried latest drives from AMD, as well as for the chipset x399 from MSI. Also tried to go to System Configuration and to set the 12 cores there in boot mode, but its already "set to 12 cores".
Also the option "Cores Disabled" in AMD Ryzen Master, remains unclickable.
What can it be???
I have the same issue. Did you apply Game Mode in Ryzen Master? I'm seeing the same, but if I switch to Creator Mode, all 12 cores and 24 threads are visible. Even though Simultaneous Multithreading seems to be enabled in Game Mode.
If this is what's supposed to happen, I might have misunderstood as well. Or it's just not communicated very clearly.
- Edit: Never mind, Game Mode is actually disabling half of your cores: -
